Avro Heritage Ltd is a privately funded international investment firm.

The business was formed by JCB heir Jo Bamford and Cheshire-based businessman Harry Harvey in 2011.
The first venture involves the acquisition and subsequent redevelopment of a 500 acre plot of land in Woodford, Cheshire.
The site, a former Aerodrome owned by BAE Systems, is steeped in history.
Since the 1920s the site has been responsible for the production of some of Britain’s most famous military aircraft including the Lancaster bomber, the Vulcan bomber and the Nimrod.
The project is the first of many proposed by Bamford and Harvey and Onside were briefed to represent the business at every level.
It is envisaged that AH Ltd will exist within a group of businesses operated under the Blackbuck Group umbrella.


Onside will represent AHL at all levels, from matters of public engagement to professional representation.
That will include media consultation, reputation management and also involved operational matters including the day-to-day running of the Woodford operation.
Onside represent AHL in relation to meetings with councillors, public bodies and the general public.
Onside are responsible for shaping the Communications Strategy for the business and will handle all media enquiries that relate to Mr Bamford’s and Mr Harvey’s other personal business interests.


Our work with AHL and the principal partners will evolve as the business grows.
