Flexitol are one of the countries fastest growing skincare brands.
The brand are recognised by the medical professional as industry leaders, particularly in the fight against diabetes.
They are best known for their ‘Heel Balm’ product which is widely prescribed by the NHS but have a range of other products backed by clinical professionals.
Flexitol, owned by an Australian company ‘Laderma Health’ contacted Onside PR with the specific brief of taking their products to a wider consumer market – particular the sports market.
They also wanted assistance with a mini relaunch as the business was relaunched with the name ‘LaCorium.’
Onside implemented a complete transformation of LaCorium Health, formerly Laderma’s, approach to PR and marketing.
This included an extensive review of their marketing strategy with regard to TV and advertising booking and implementing a social media program for the brand.
Onside examined opportunities to introduce Flexitol to the consumer market within the media and introduced the Flexitol range of products to a number of sporting organisations including the Bupa Great North Run.
Flexitol achieved national newspaper coverage in The Sun, The Mirror and extensive regional coverage through out sponsorship of Anthony Band’s barefoot challenge. The athlete ran from John O’Groats to Lands End barefoot – using only Flexitol’s Blistop treatment to raise funds for ‘Help for Heroes.’
Onside launched Flexitol’s Facebook and Twitter sites and guided the international business through the redesign of their website and rebrand of their business.
