New Zealand Fire will use the Warning Alarm for Stability Protection.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand, or FENZ, have ordered three double WASP units after a successful trial period.
WASP co-founder Matt Keogh, said: “We are delighted that Fire and Emergency New Zealand have taken three double WASP units.
“UK firefighters have always had close links with the service in New Zealand and the UKISAR team were part of the international effort in helping them recover from the Christchurch earthquake in 2011.
“It is particularly pleasing for me, as it means in the eight months since we launched, we now have WASP units protecting emergency service workers and members of the public, literally all over the world.
“We are also now receiving repeat orders from clients who are realising, just how often the WASP can be used, monitoring stability during RTCs, after house fires, explosions and a variety of other scenarios.”
The Fire and Emergency New Zealand order means the WASP is now being used all over the world. It is already providing protection for emergency service personnel in America, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
The WASP was officially launched in September 2016 at The Emergency Services Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
Onside PR helped to launch the WASP by creating the initial branding, website and marketing strategy and organised media coverage.
