British acting legend Sir Patrick Stewart joined racing star Tiff Needell for a day of filming at the former Woodford Aerodrome.
The Star Trek and X-Men star used the former BAE Systems site near Stockport to film part of the BBC Racing Legends series.
Stewart is an avoid motor sport fan and the series provided him with an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of his idol Sir Sterling Moss.
Moss is recognised as being the greatest all-round racing drivers in the history of motor sport – and part of his brilliance was his ability to perfect the four wheeled drift.
The pair enjoyed a fabulous days filming at the former BAE Systems aerodrome – with the results broadcast over Christmas in the first of three Racing Legends specials.
