They also supply a number of individual athletes and a national rugby union team who prefer the PharmaNutricals product to their own official nutrition partner.
PharmaNutricals are certified by Informed Sport, a kite mark for top class athletes that certifies PharmaNutrical products are free from potential cross contamination.
PharmaNutricals had a brilliant product that was recognised and respected by top class athletes.
Nutritional experts and professional athletes raved about the benefits of the PharmaNutrical products.
But away from the very niche, elite group of athletes using the products little or no impact had been made on the wider public – who ultimately mean’t to be the target consumers.
Onside PR joined the PharmaNutricals team about 12 months into their journey and immediately set about reviewing the existing marketing strategy and branding.
PharmaNutricals had secured incredible access to top class athletes through their sponsorship deals – but didn’t know how to maximise those opportunities.
They had no marketing collateral to associate themselves with any of the sponsors and their website and social media channels made little or no use of the partnerships.
The basic infrastructure required to maximise these opportunities, namely the website and social media channels, had been poorly constructed and quality was sadly lacking.
Rather than offering engaging content the online portal emphasis was on discount codes for customers – but without the content there would be no customers.
Onside PR immediately began building a rich supply of unique and engaging content that associated the PharmaNutricals brand which each sponsor.
Video interviews and high class imagery with athletes using the products, the coaching staff and nutritional experts were produced to be used and shared online.
Onside PR devised a marketing strategy which would utilise the opportunities created by social media platforms but sadly, PharmaNutricals ran into financial difficulties and ultimately ceased trading.
It was a great pity for a very strong product which was genuinely backed by top class athletes. PharmaNutricals have been shortlisted for the Outstanding Business Award at the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Awards in Birmingham and young Entrepreneur of the Year category.
We always had faith in the quality of our product but even we have been surprised by the pace of development.
PharmaNutricals has secured partnerships with a number of elite athletes and organisations including GB Boxing, GB Judo and Reading FC and we have to ensure those partnerships are maximised.
