Atlas Pile Testing System create the safest, most precise and accurate pile testing systems in the world.
The company was launched by the Datum Group to develop a new remote controllable and fully automated pile testing system.
Launching with The Titan 650, a fully automated and unmanned static load testing system, Atlas Pile Testing Systems intend to set new standards for safety, accuracy and control.
The Titan 650 is fully compliant with the new third-edition of the ICE Specification for Piling and Embedded Retaining Walls, and has a number of key features including;
- Safety (removing operatives from a high risk environment);
- Accuracy (precise increments of load and pile displacement measurements)
- Transparency (designers can view live data and amend the test in the field, remotely)
- Expediency (a test controller can be located anywhere in the world)
- Efficiency (Tests are completed quicker and more directly).
The Titan 650 builds on more than 20-years of piling sector experience, utilising the latest innovations and technology to present a fast, reliable, smart and safe pile testing system that offers many advantages over existing pile testing methods.
Onside PR were tasked with the brand development and launch of the Titan 650.
We joined the team with the project very much in its infancy and were given complete responsibility for the branding and subsequent marketing.
The Titan 650 was initially referred to as ‘Atlas’ and was planned to be included as an offering of the Datum Group, a company also managed by Onside PR.
Onside PR were leading the Datum Group through a rebranding process during the development phase of the project Atlas and we felt it was important to separate the two businesses .
Datum were not previously involved in the pile testing industry, though Datum’s owner and CEO, Rory O’Rourke, was very much a respected figure in the industry and a fellow of the Institute of Civil Engineering.
Onside PR worked to create a very strong, stand alone brand.
It was decided that Atlas Pile Testing Systems would be the brand and Titan 650 the launch product.
This would enable the company to deliver very strong, very focused messaging to a very specific industry.
It allowed owner Rory O’Rourke the opportunity to potential separate the two businesses moving forward and allowed for clear, fixed messaging.
Onside PR were involved in every stage of the product development ensuring branding was strong and clear, that marketing collateral was both informative and engaging, and that online content delivered.
We produced a stunning set of images ahead of launch, a promotional video with multi-lingual voice-overs to allow for global development and a motion graphic which clearly demonstrated the capabilities of the Titan 650.
