The Chinese Buffet
The Chinese Buffet aims to become the UK’s first national chain of Chinese restaurants.
They create high quality ‘all-you-can eat’ buffet style high street restaurants for a low fixed price.
The owners want to develop an outlet version of their food, ‘TCB Express’ to cater for lunch-time trade, and develop a range of sauces and food to be sold in national supermarkets.
Onside PR were tasked with preparing The Chinese Buffet into a national brand.
Two restaurants had been opened when they engaged with Onside PR and work was underway to launch a third.
They had ploughed their energy and efforts into sourcing real estate and pursuing physical expansions and only really paid lip service to their branding and marketing.
Onside PR conducted an in-depth review of their existing position and discovered a number of inconsistencies that caused concern for a business with such ambition growth plans.
Mixed use of logos, branding, colours, in-store inconsistencies, a poorly designed website and mismanagement of social media channels.
The owners recognised the issues raised and allowed Onside PR a free-hand to produce a strategic approach for the business, which would include the creation and implementation of brand guidelines for both print and digital marketing.
Onside PR delivered a brand and approach which properly reflected the owner’s ambitious future plans.
A stunning new website, in-house branding and a look for the business which could be easily replicated at every restaurant was created and the results were stunning.
Onside PR worked with The Chinese Buffet in the creation and opening of seven further venues across the North West.
The branding is strong and The Chinese Buffet is established as the North West’s leading all-you-can-eat chain of Chinese restaurants.
