MobileForceField is a mobile app which protects children from online bullies, sexual predators and inappropriate websites.
It is the world’s first app to provide proactive protection for children and works by blocking cyberbullying and unsuitable content before it is viewed by the minor.
In the case of suspicious messages or images, the app ‘catches the content’ and allows the child’s parent to initially review, and then decide whether it is suitable for their children or now.
Onside PR was tasked with taking the MobileForceField concept to market.
Initially, the app had a different name and very little thought had been given to the branding or marketability of the product.
It was very teccy, very process driven and not easily understandable to its customer base, ie parents of young children operating mobile phones and tablets.
Onside PR was charged with the task of translating the concept into a brand – with responsibilities for all aspects of marketing, PR before bringing a marketable product to market.
It was clear, having researched the product, that an alternative approach was required and we undertook a complete review of the original marketing strategy and branding.
The expertise and brilliance behind the technology of MobileForceField could not and should not ever be underestimated however it was immediately clear to Onside PR that a more consumer-friendly approach was required.
Onside PR rebranded MobileForceField before the business even launched.
It was clear, whilst the concept was terrific and the product very strong, it was not a marketable proposition.
The branding / marketing had been created by the w
as so technology led and complicated that it would not translate to a consumer audience.

We worked in partnership with our preferred external web design team Carbon Creative and the software developers for more than 12 months to produce an application, a business ready for a global launch.
Marketing material to support the MobileForceField concept was produced and presented to key figures from education, health, police, child welfare and charities ahead of the product launch.
Social media sites were established ensuring MobileForceField had a strong online presence ahead of the proposed launch – whilst a wealth of material was prepared for key media, education, health and police contacts.
