HallCraft have launched a Covid-19 safe key drop-off system.
The innovative approaches allows HallCraft customers to service customer needs without coming physical contact.
HallCraft were forced to suspend all activity following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic – providing emergency work for key workers only.
Now, they are ready to resume activities and will begin servicing, MOTs and accident repairs – whilst still being able to maintain social distances.
Screens
Screens have been installed in the offices to create a protective barrier between staff, customers and suppliers.
All bookings are made over the telephone and customers are provided with a dedicated time slot to drop off their car.
Social distancing includes the enforcement of a strict one-in-one-out policy for customers.
Once work is complete the customer receives a telephone call, payment is taken over the phone, and there are allocated a time slot to recover their vehicle, with the keys left in a sanitised key drop.
HallCraft partner James Hopcraft, said: “Safety is, and always has been, our main priority, and we wanted to demonstrate to our customers that we really do take this pandemic seriously.
“Our system allows us to return to work safely and keeps our customers motoring in difficult times.”
Onside PR shot a video to help HallCraft demonstrate the new Covid-19 safe system and to explain how the key drop works.
