ONSIDE PR will lead the launch of the world’s first ever proactive child safety app MobileForceField.
MobileForceField will protect children from cyber bullying, online sexual predators and access to inappropriate content whenever they use their Smartphone or tablet.
Onside PR founder James Fletcher will personally oversee the launch of the MobileForceField guiding the project team from fledging idea to fully launched business over the next 12 months.
MobileForceField is the brainchild of two brilliant South African born London based software engineers who designed the project from scratch to tackle a problem that has previously been ignored.
Launch
The project is being backed by Onside client ICP Networks MD Matt Archer and the Manchester based team will launch the app which will be available in every English speaking country in the world via the Google Play Store.
There has been attempts by politicians and police leaders to convince the large ISP – Internet Service Providers – to provide better safeguards for parents to be able to lock down wi-fi routers and home networks.
But mobile devices such as Smartphones and tablets connect to the internet directly or via wi-fi hotspots in cafes, restaurants and bars or even next door neighbours wi-fi networks – leaving them vulnerable to the dangers of online activity.
Bullied
There are numerous apps available that allow parents to keep track on their children’s online activity but all are ‘after the event’ and tragically for most parents they only discover that their children have been bullied or troubled by something they have viewed online after they been affected.
Case of children harming themselves or even worse, committing suicide as a result of cyber bullying or otherwise harming themselves are tragically on the rise but the team behind MobileForceField believe that is about to change.
MobileForceField steps into block issues before they become a problem. The software scans and stops any inappropriate text or picture messages and denies access to websites that could contain inappropriate content.
