Budding British squash star Julian Tomlinson is being backed by Onside PR as he bids to make it as a professional.
The talented teenagee is making headlines in the North West having now secured the Lancashire Junior Closed two years running.
Tomlinson is the current the North West U19 Championship and the North West Colleges title holder.
Julian made his debut in January in the British Junior Open last January and the Senior British National Squash Championships, hosted at the National Squash Centre in Manchester.
Julian, said; “It’s a difficult task to make the step up from junior squash to competing on the professional circuit but that is my goal and I am totally committed to breaking through the ranks.
“I have great support from my family friends and terrific sponsors Titan Sports who provide my rackets and bags and Compton Place Shopping Centre. This is the beginning of what I hope will be an exciting career in a really tough sport.”
Julian has been playing in the North West Counties Men’s league since the age of 14 and boasts a proud unbeaten record at the age of 15 during the 2008 season.
The young British hope is backed by Titan Sports and Crompton Place Shopping Centre and is coaching future talent at David Lloyd Bolton.
Despite his numerous titles and awards Julian has no doubt of his greatest achievement; beating his father John in a North West Counties Squash League clash when he was 8-nil down in the fifth!
