Child safety app Mobile Force Field are hoping to partner Sir Richard Branson in a joint bid to provide cyber protection for youngsters.
The four Dad’s behind the world’s first ever proactive child safety app have turned to the Virgin tycoon via his ‘Pitch to Rich’ competition to find Britain’s next great entrepreneurs.
Sir Richard has offered a total £1 million prize pot to the winners of the competition with the promise of throwing his full support and marketing genius behind the winners.
Mobile Force Field MD Matt Archer now needs members of the public to back Mobile Force Field’s ‘Pitch to Rich’ by voting for the business online here: Pitch-to-rich
Protection
“Mobile Force Field provides parents with a way of providing protection for their children from cyberbullying and protects children from the variety of other online threats including grooming, sexting and inappropriate websites,” Archer explained.
“We are a small team of four fathers who have created a solution to a problem that the major developers and Internet Service Providers either couldn’t, or didn’t want too but we can only take it so far.
“Our app ensures parents can protect their children from harm whenever, wherever they use a mobile phone.
“Mobile Force Field is the first app in the world to offer preventative protection rather than a simple way of logging what has already happened.
“Crucially for parents, especially in circumstances of bullying, it is often too late to read a log of what has already happened, as the message or image has already been received and can not be undone.
“Mobile Force Field recognises, intercepts and blocks the message or image that is deemed inappropriate in accordance with the parents wishes and blocks websites that are unsuitable whether the child has delibrately found it or accidentally almost stumbled upon it.
Revolutionary
“The software is revolutionary, it is effective in every English speaking country in the world and provides millions of families with a way of combatting cyberbullying, of protecting against sexting, online grooming and protects the innocence of youth.
“Now we need help publicising our work and the opportunity to work with Sir Richard, arguably Britain’s most successful entrepreneur and a marketing genius, is an incredible opportunity for us.
“But to get the opportunity to pitch the idea directly to Sir Richard and his team we need to attract votes from members of the public and so we are asking for your help.
“If you believe Mobile Force Field is a good idea click on the link and cast your vote. It takes a few seconds but could make a real difference for millions of families around the world if we are successful.”
Branson, arguably Britain’s most flamboyant and successful businessman has promised to throw his marketing prowess and finances behind the business he believes deserves his backing.
He believes more should be done to help entrepreneurs succeed and is inviting pitches from business all over the UK, from start-ups to established businesses looking to grow but with the competition closing on May 5th, 2015 Mobile Force Field need your support now.
Acclaim
Mobile Force Field was launched in October 2014 to critical, professional and media acclaim.
Macclesfield MP David Rutley described the software as an ‘invaluable tool for families claiming: “Mobile technology does have a darker side and products like this provide tools for parents and young people to block out adult and inappropriate content and at the same time enable parents to keep a closer eye on what’s happening in the lives of their children.”
Dr Simon Berrisford said: “I believe this is a powerful tool for parents to use to protect their children and considering the experiences that I have had in treating victims of cyber bullying it would seem to be as much an essential tool for parents as Calpol”
Manchester City Football Club’s CITC Foundation were so impressed with the app they have installed it on tablets they use to help educate thousands of Greater Manchester youngsters.
Mike Green, Head of CITC, said: “City in the Community is proud to support Mobile Force Field. Mobile Force Field has created a concept that will work towards keeping more young people safe, something that we are very passionate about.”
The app costs just £19.95-per-year for smartphones and £9.95-per-year for tablets and is available in every English speaking country in the world. It is currently available exclusively for Android devices but an iOS version is under development.
