Former Coronation Street star Suranne Jones has teamed up with Mobile Force Field.
The award winning actress will front a video showcasing the world’s first child safety app by highlighting the dangers faced by children using mobile devices.
Suranne, who currently stars as DC Rachel Bailey in the hit ITV drama Scott and Bailey joined forces with Oscar and BAFTA nominated director Mark Gill of iVideo Production for the shoot ahead in Cheshire.
The film will be used as part of the global launch of Mobile Force Field in October and brings the sophisticated product to life.
Bullies
Suranne, was targeted by bullies at school and has previously revealed how she used their hatred as inspiration as she set out to become an award winning actress.
Mobile Force Field MD Matt Archer, said: “Suranne is a genuine superstar and we were honoured she agreed to front our film.
“She was the perfect choice for Mobile Force Field and she was particularly keen to get involved given her own painful experience at the hands of school bullies.
Concern
“We felt we needed to create the video to be able to demonstrate the problems that children face whilst using mobile devices and explain how Mobile Force Field can offer protection from those areas of concern.
“Suranne was impressed with our product and the principals behind Mobile Force Field and was keen to offer her support.”
The Mobile Force Field shoot was filmed on location at Pownall Hall School in Wilmslow who kind agreed to lend their support to the project.
Director Mark Gill jetted back from the Oscars in Los Angeles where he and partner Baldwin Li were nominated for their short film, The Voorman Problemstarring Martin Freeman and Tom Hollander.
