WASP Rescue flew to the FDIC International in Indianapolis to showcase the Warning Alarm for Stability Protection.
The FDIC, or Fire Department Instructor’s Conference, is one of the most important shows in the United States for the fire and rescue industry.
Thousands of firefighters traveled to the Indiana Convention Centre and Lucas Oil Stadium for the five-day show.
WASP delegate Steve Ibbotson teamed up with Res-Q-Jack at the FDIC to showcase the full capabilities of the Warning Alarm for Stability Protection.
The FDIC, or Fire Department Instructor’s Conference, follows the highly successful WASP debut at the Virginia Fire and Rescue Conference.
Interest
Steve said: “The interest in the US in the WASP has been quite incredible, especially when we consider the WASP only launched in the UK last September.
“The reaction from firefighters and rescue workers in Virginia and from other parts of the US is hugely exciting and leaves me in no doubt that the WASP has a big future in America.
“The FDIC International gave us the opportunity to demonstrate the equipment and the scenarios where it would be useful and the response was incredible.”
The FDIC was hosted at the Indianapolis in the Indiana Convention Centre and Lucas Oil Stadium between April 24 and April 29.
More than 800 exhibitors and 30,000 attendees were expected to attend. Last year the audience was boosted with around 1,500 attendees from some 59 countries flying in for the conference.
