Mobile Force Field MD Matt Archer addressed the media alongside acclaimed Professor Geoff Beattie, author of the Mobile Force Field commissioned white paper.
Mr Archer, said: “We knew we had created an exciting product but the interest since the launch has been extraordinary.
“The world has been crying for a solution to the problem of keeping children safe online, especially when it comes to using mobile devices and we believe Mobile Force Field is exactly that.
“The recent media coverage over the dangers of Snapchat and the media attention around the ‘Snappening’ has only highlighted those concerns.
“Mobile Force Field allows parents to keep their children safe from harm and should protect young people from the dangers of apps like Snapchat but perhaps more importantly the increasing trend of children exchanging ‘sexts’ or inappropriate selfies.
“We are committed to ensuring that children remain safe online and the feedback so far would suggest that Mobile Force Field has an exciting future.”
