Finnish Firefighters have been given a preview of the WASP.
WASP Rescue founder Matt Keogh flew to Helsinki to showcase the Warning Alarm for Stability Protection to Finn Rescue and the Finnish Army.
He spent two days training the Finnish emergency personnel and showing how it could be deployed in a variety of emergency situations.
Keogh, said: “It was a terrific trip, very worthwhile and they were very impressed by the WASP and its capabilities.
“I think it is only when people get to see the WASP in action that it becomes apparent how it could be useful in many everyday different scenarios.
“The WASP provides protection to collapsed, collapsing or otherwise unsafe structures, road traffic collisions and an almost unlimited variety of scenarios and is quick, simple and easy to use.
“I’d like to thank Jani for his hospitality and I look forward to my next visit to Finland.”
Finn Rescue, or FF was founded in 1993 and originally consisted of Helsinki, Western Uusimaa, Keski-Uusimaa, Southwest Finland and Tampere voluntary fire service rescue personnel.
