ICP Networks have been shortlisted in the LABC Building Excellence Regional Finals.
The IT and Networking specialists have been recognised for their work in creating Lexicon House, their new global headquarters.
Lexicon House has already been dubbed the ‘Greenest IT HQ’ in Britain given it’s eco-friendly build status which includes 200 solar panels, energy efficient light bulbs, heat sensors and a heat recovery system.
ICP Networks created their headquarters from the ground up consider the environment, and crucially the impact of Lexicon House on the environment, at every stage.
That work was recognised by local authority Cheshire East who nominated them for the LABC Building Excellence Awards who have in turn short-listed ICP Networks as regional finalists.
Honour
ICP Networks MD Matt Archer, said: “This is a huge honour for ICP Networks and our team. To be short-listed is reward itself for all the hard work and effort put into creating Lexicon House.
“We are hugely proud of what we have created, we didn’t set out to ‘tick boxes’ to win awards, we created something that we felt was right for the environment and right for us as a business and the results already have been beyond our wildest expectations.
“Fingers crossed for the Awards, who knows what might happen. If nothing else it shows that any company large or small can achieve results that make a difference. We are immensely proud.”
ICP Networks were both ‘client’ and ‘contractor’ for the creation of Lexicon House with Archer and trusted right-hand man Bob Greaves effectively project managing the eco-build.
