Onside PR has produced a Halo Shield promo video to showcase its value.
We were invited to shoot on site with leading utilities provider Network Plus, after they installed the Halo as part of their Covid-19 defensive strategy.
Network Plus installed the Halo to their head offices in Manchester and at key locations across the UK in an effort to protecting their employees, visitors and clients.
Matthew O’Sullivan, Support Services Director at Network Plus and Go Traffic Management told Onside PR the Halo has become an integral part of their strategy to control the spread of Covid-19.
Essential
He said: “It is an essential, element of our Covid 19 preparedness. It definitely reenforces that we take it seriously.
“We have a service to provide but we want to do it in a safe manner, that goes for any matter of Health and Safety, but with regard to Covid-19 this is one of our essential elements to make sure people are safe.
“I think it is a really good system, I think it would be useful in a whole plethora of locations, particularly where there is a high volume of people going in and out of a building so hospitals, business venues, arenas and those types of venues.”
Network Plus were one of the first UK businesses to deploy the Halo system as they attempt to return to some sort of normality after the Covid-19 lockdown.
The innovative body temperature monitoring system, created by leading security providers Red CCTV, has been deployed at the entrance to their Manchester headquarters, where it scans individuals as they arrive to the building.
Identifies
It identifies individuals who have a body temperature in excess of 37.8 degrees – a key symptom, as identified by health officials, of the virus Covid-19.
Red CCTV Managing Director Rob Kennedy, said: “The system is a very effective front line solution to a very immediate problem.
“It is unobtrusive, totally safe and will inspire confidence asa workers return after the Covid-19 lockdown.
“It’s very easy to use and could help to identify people at risk who may otherwise have had no idea.
“And it’s not just above Covid-19, there are plenty or other health issues including the common cold or fever that will be caught and prevented from being spread to the workforce.”
