The Morson Group have turned to the Halo Shield as part of their Covid-19 response.
They have installed the Halo Shield Pod Pro at their global headquarters in Manchester.
It will scan staff and visitors as they enter Adamson House in Salford and immediately display their body temperature.
Anyone identified of having a temperature of 37.8 degrees or more will be denied entrance to the Morson HQ – to keep staff safe from the possibility of Covid-19.
The raised temperature may simply be down to external conditions or physical activity prior to entering the building. Those individuals will be allowed to wait and attempt entrance at a later time.
Red CCTV Managing Director, Rob Kennedy, said: “The Halo Shield provides employees, suppliers and employees with confidence.
“Confidence in the sense that they know everyone within the building had a body temperature in the ‘safe’ zone.
“The Halo Shield is not a Covid-19 detector, it monitors and measures body temperature and the experts tell us elevated body temperatures are a symptom of Covid-19.
“But this isn’t just about Covid-19. This will identify anyone with an elevated temperature and that could indicate all sorts of health issues including the common cold, or SARS, of other virus that could be a risk to others within the building.
“We believe this will become a longer term solution for business anyway who simply want to keep their staff, their suppliers and their customers healthy.”
Morson Group, are one of the largest recruitment and design consultancy businesses in the world with offices in the UK and North America.
They employ more than 1,600 people and operate from more than 50 locations across the globe with more than 14,000 contractors working on site at any one time.
Kennedy, added: “The Morson Group are a shinning example of how to care for your staff.
“They have always been the same, it’s part of their success, but during crisis like the recent Covid-19 pandemic they lead the way.
“They have installed the Halo Shield Pod Pro and the Halo Shield Lite to ensure that anyone arriving at Adamson House is screened and checked.
“Only those people that fall within the safe permitted temperature zones are allowed in.
”The advantage of the Halo Shield Pod Pro is the video screen which allows Morson to display their own key messaging, in this case their Covid-19 guidance.”
Morson’s have invested heavily in the fight to protect employees, suppliers and visitors safe from Covid-19.
They even launched a dedicated website – the ‘Morson Covid-10 Support Hub‘ – to offer support and guidance.
